Interesting enough to get all the way through, but it had very typical plot with weak, flat characters. Action wasn’t dynamic enough to take your mind off the fact that such a Japanese-focused movie is centered around a random white lady. Character performances were pretty average across the board with Woody Harrelson and Mary Elizabeth Winstead doing their best with the writing they were given. I just did not find the experience of watching this movie to be worth it.
Rating: 💾 I disliked this movie.
My former roommates and I (known affectionately as Goblin House) had a regular movie night where we all got together to watch a movie one of us picked out. Many of these reviews came from a Goblin Movie Night, so they’ll be tagged with the nickname of the Goblin who picked the movie.
